Now listen guys I need your help as you have gathered me and Mrs W have a little four night ski break in March, Little W tucked away at Grandma's we go off and have a bit of our time, Ok you know the story,
Now this years trip to Adelboden was Ok but the ski area was not very well linked the previous year Passo Tonale Ok but a real beginners resort, so I have picked these last two resorts and really they have not matched up to La Thuile which was the year before Passo and was great, now 2010 I would like the full package a nice village, plenty of well linked skiing, snow sure, two hours from an airport max, I would like everything...
Here is your mission should you except it, find me the perfect resort which matches all the above criteria...... :D :D

I hate to say it Ian, but Austria really does fit the bill. What about a cozy log cabin in Finland

Have you ever considered Samoens?
Great little village, snow sure ski area with great skiing, an hour from Geneva.
Done a couple of short breaks there and both been successful.
Neige et Roc is a nice Hotel, the bus stops very close by.

Hi Ian,
MMMMMmmmmmm tricky one this but i do have a suggestion have a butchers at Chalet Tarentaise in Le Pre (Direct link into the Les Arcs ski area near the chalet) the details are below.
http://www.optimumski.com/
Le Pre is just over two hours from Geneva ,Lyon ,Grenoble and Chambery airports,or can be reached via train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice then taxi up to Le Pre in about 20mins, or the owners may even collect you.
The prices are around 850euro per person, but this year from the week commencing 21st March there is a 50% reduction, and wold think next year they will probably be doing the same....which isn't at all bad for a fully catered chalet.
