:D If you do it right, you only need about 25 miles of France, then the rest is in nice old Belguim and Germany ) Much cheaper that way. |

Woohoo, is there any sort of dance we can do to help encourage it?

:) I just booked a long weekend to Dusseldorf for the beginning of December. Take in the Christmas Markets and watch some of the Sprint Ski event they do alongside the river.
Hoping that will help the wait till Feb for my first booked Ski Hol to Kitzbuhel. |

 :-o  What in France? Plenty of practice burning ours, I'm sure they could sort out a bonfire for free  |

 Oh no. I am going to Kitzbuhel next Feb, sadly two of the guys I am going with spent 4 weeks in Tiawan, and lived off of Subway or Ice-cream for the entire time. I hate to think what may now happen when we are skiing :( |

Great post offpisteskiing :)
I was in the region at the beginning of Feb, and took this pic of the big three mountains of the region, the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. For those who are not sure, the Eiger is the one to the left on the picture. You can clearly see the west face here on a cloudless day. The posted pic is linked to the full size pic if you want to see it in greater detail.
FYI, the region was still full of Japanese and Chinese tourists back then as well. There were several fully chartered trains going up the Jungfrau. |
