Good Friday is April 6th next year, so two weeks earlier than this year :)

Aha, but was it served by a man speaking German with a heavy French accent? We have to get value for our euros somehow  |

Wickers, don't get me wrong, I am totally with you on having a tarteflette over a burger any day, but all I wonder, is that if a McD arrives in the resort and starts selling 1€ burgers, then just possibly, the tarteflette may drop to a more reasonable 7€. Mind you, I doubt it, but we can but hope. |

My initial reaction to this was absolute horror. I have never been a fan of McD or the like, and would hate to see them in resorts. But then Trenchers comment made me think. Actually, if McD turned up in a decent resort and started selling at their usual prices, I strongly suspect I would never have to pay 21 euros for a bratwurst and rosti (or the like) ever again! Perhaps it may not be such a bad thing after all. |

Sadly, it does not look very good in Borovets either, judging from these webcams.. http://www.bulgariaski.com/webcam.php?resort=Borovets&lang=en Perhaps someone who is out there or has been recently can comment. Good luck. PS the page seems to take a while to load, as it contains several camera links. Give it a minute or two and all will be revealed. |

Skier falls down mountain and catches it all on his helmet camera

Sorry crispyapplepie, but the camera was attached to his helmet. He was filming over the edge with it before skiing and, if you notice, he put it back on just before stepping into his skis. Hey Tony, would a camera stay on your bobble during a descent like that? And as Tony stated, he was pretty good to get himself back round and onto his skis during the drop, he even seemed to have the front to be annoyed with himself when he stopped  |

 Gentlemen, choose your colours..
I think we have narrowed it down to somewhere in Austria (we have never been there yet), somewhere on the Sella Ronda or Whistler. |

Hi TJ90, tough one this. Ideally you need to get responses from people who have either had to claim, or know somebody who has had to claim.
For example, I have used OUL Direct for the last 5 years, and found them to be very good when renewing, but fortunately I have never had to claim, so I really cannot comment as to how good they may actually turn out to be. All I can say, is that they were rated very highly by Which magazine at the time, and that was what swayed it for me. Hope that helps. |
