Ok, I wasnt going to even respond to this thread because i think enough has been said already!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Dave, thanks for responding to my post. I am now aware that the piste bashers go up every night. BUT (and this is only my opinion) it felt to me that the red run was in exactly the same state the following day. For a couple of days the red I think it was 24 or 23a or something like that, was very very bumpy and to a not so confident skier like me it was very difficult turning because of these bumps. Like I also said in my post this was problaby not helped (or recreated after grooming)by the sheer volume of people (at Feb half term).
I am no expert on how long it takes a run to get carved up like that. I was not complaining there was too much snow, just that to ME the runs seemed to be ungroomed. After your comment about the piste basher I am just going to put it down to sheer volume of people during half term.

Caron maybe I should have used the term Feb half term instead of peak time as I think this is what has fuelled your fire but I had already said this a few times in previous posts so people who were following the post would have known what I was talking about and wouldnt have suddenly decided to stay at home and lock the windows during "peak times"

You have made your feelings pretty clear and I do not intend to repost to this thread as I think enough has been said. You have your opinion I have my opinion and the phantom star allocator has had a say without having a say! There is no need for pettiness.

We are all adults and I am sure we can agree to disagree and leave it at that. That is why I decided to post to this thread. I dont like conflict I was just having an opion on what I experienced. I am sorry if this has caused offence to anyone.

OK, what it boils down to for me is not about niederau, it's about this:

I have read many reports (including your original ones) from people who have not loved a resort but, until this thread, I've never seen anyone bang on (not my words) about the resort.

There are a lot of people on this site who want to go, are booked to go, live there, work there, have lived there, have worked there, call it a second home, adore it, you name it.

I consider some such people to be my friends and a lot of them went out their way to give you masses of help and advice before your trip. I think they deserve a little bit more respect.

That's me done. Apologies if I've offended anyone. Fun Caron wants to come back out to play now :D I don't like this one very much
