Back from Niederau today

I to like caron have re read the posts and still believe Karen and Tony have done nothing wrong apart from voice their opinion of a ski resort, we do that all the time on J2ski. People offer help here all the time whether it is information about a resort to what ski school to use all valuable information for the enjoyment of our holidays, but if we have a bad experience in any recommended resort do we now not voice our opinion of that resort for fear of upsetting others who love the resort. No we should not.
What I think Karen has come to terms with is next year ski outside half term and she has made that very clear in her postings. This is my last posting on this thread if anyone wish to discuss further please Pm me. :wink:

Wow. I go away for a week, and the N thing kicks off big time.
Why?
Because someone posted their opinions on the place. Honest, matter of fact, possibly a little uninformed at times (no offence Karen72) but from their own perspective.

I have read through this thread carefully, and have only managed to detect the following:

1. Someone has been playing pathetic games with star ratings, mainly 1 starring the people who dont claim N is the best place in the world, and 5 starring those who defend it. Really very childish.

2. Some people take things just a little tiny bit too seriously. People are entitled to opinions, they are not right or wrong, its how they find things.

3. Niederau is perfect for some people, not for others. I voiced my opinion on how I found the place, as did Caron-a, as did Karen72. There are others on this forum who regularly big-up the place, and fair play to them, if thats what they want. Many people go back to places time and time again, while others decide its not for them and never return. Quite why some people have to take offence to someone elses opinion is beyond me.

4. There are a couple of posters who have added to this thread with what is clearly the sole intention of stoking up trouble. There is no need for that. Take a look at certain peoples post count, and then look at what they are saying. :roll:

5. I think its time to move on from the whole N thing. It gets brought into discussion far too often on this forum for some reason, and there is a big old skiing world out there to be explored by all.


I hope everyone who goes there has a great time, and I hope people who ski other places have an equally good time. In fact, I hope everyone who skis anywhere has a fantastic time. A skiing day is the best day ever in the world ever of all time ever. Ever.

I actually wasnt refering to you.

I know, I just found it amusing especially as I was everything but constructive with my posts including eye rolling smiley and humorous ship heading for a hurricane image.

Flippin eck, give me a chance. I got home at 10.30 last night, and have actually had to do some work today!!!!
