I'm not sure how much you should be able to lift your heel

Anyway, I did a little searching and found these: http://www.twoseasons.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/TwoSeasons/_57081

Might be worth looking in to or phoning the store to find out about pricing availability, might get you £40 back. Can't believe you paid £50 for a wheely boot bag though

Thanks Pablo,
I was a bit worried about being able to lift my heel, but I questioned my poor technician about it very closely, in the shop, and he said it was okay. Thanks for the Two Seasons link. I'll give them a ring on Monday and see if that sale price applies to the shop as well as the internet, and make sure that's what it was on Wednesday. Those are definitely my new boots - a very bright orange

I am very pleased with my wheelie boot bag :D :D :D
I was in Debenhams on Sunday (in Swansea) in their 50% sale pricing up wheelie bags (because my daughter wanted a smaller one anyway, for general trips away) and I reckon £50 is a very good price. I was particularly pleased because I know it's specially made to fit ski boots, and in fact my nice man very kindly unpacked my new boots and put them in there for me to wheel about London, and Milton Keynes and take back home. AND - my new wheelie boot bag EVEN fitted in the lockers at the Snow Dome :D

Maybe it does - I haven't tried that yet

Glad the fitting was a success. Best thing I did was buy my own boots. I'm thinking about a pair of skis for next year.

Hi Ally,
Glad you got your new boots and that your legs and toes weren't too scary.

Well, he didn't actually say anything about my hairy legs and knobbly knees, but neither did he run screaming from the shop, so I suppose he can't have minded too much :D

I decided that shaving my legs was just going a bit too far for me - I'd already had to iron my daughter's St John's Ambulance shirt that day because they were being inspected by the Duchess of Gloucester and going on telly, and doing two feminine tasks in one day would have finished me off

Hey - I was skiing up the Snowdome on Thursday morning too, with my children. Would have liked to meet another J2skier after my failed attempt in AdH earlier this year. Let me know in advance if you head back that way again. :D

Hi Claire,
I'm sorry I missed you. I did say somewhere on my 'I'm buying new ski boots' thread that I'd be there if anyone wanted to meet up.

I do hope it wasn't one of your kids I whacked on the head (good job Tony's on holiday at the moment) with the Poma lift
Whoever it was, was wearing a helmet luckily, and they seemed to be fine afterwards :D
They really shouldn't make people ski round behind that drag lift, or at least they should put up a sign telling people to move out of the way quicker when I'm using the Snow Dome

I was there from 10-12. What time were you there?

Ally
