Square Deal from Inghams (Late Availability) - to Innsbruck
Login
I trying to download to my website a vid of the holiday when I have managed to complete I will post the Link.
Penny, the 2 cheapies in Mayrhofen were Inghams for the B&B Snowhomes, and the £229 HB was through Neilson, although I found it on www.bookableski.co.uk
Both were booked at fairly short notice, and B&B was mid Jan, and the HB towards the end of Feb.
You have to be flexible in terms of when you go, and be prepared to wait until the last minute and scan the net regularly!
Hope you have a good time.

We've booked the square deal too. There's nowhere bad from Innsbruck. Igls only problem is limited skiing but Stubai glacier is apparently accessible. Unfortunately with a 4 year old in ski school we'll have to make do with Igls if that's what we get! Got to be better than working and we were in Soll last month (superb) so this is a bonus trip.

Lots of bargains!
I'd settle for a hovel at this point in time, I'm back to work tomorrow
Have you got any photos of your trip to share with us Ian?

Thanks to all replies. Only problem with Igls is the limited skiing, as one reply said. otherwise it looks great. I'd love to know where you found the £229 half board in Mayrhofen though Tony?? Find good deals but then they load on supplements etc. Inghams do good hotels in general, so don't think we'll find it a hovel..... Anyway, Hope you enjoy your hols too Dr Death....... Looking forward to it and might post on here afterwards the result of where we ended up! Thanks again.

Lots of good resorts around Innsbruck, Neustift and the Stubai Glacier are both near Innsbruck, so if you get there you should be fine, as there are a variety of ski areas and also the glacier a 40 min bus ride away(although if it is -20 and blowing a hoolie, it will be cold!)- if it is a bright sunny day, you will experience the feelgood factor :D :D :D, we had an amazing day there on a day trip from Westendorf. Worth having a look to see where the resorts are in the brochure from Innsbruck so that at least you have an idea. Ifyouski and Igluski are good websites with resort reports. You can also get the Stubaitalbahn from that area into Innsbruck if the weather/visibility is too bad to ski - we did this one New Year's day (after going to bed at 4 am!!) and it was a lovely trip. I wouldn't worry too much - they have held past Winter Olympics there, so be encouraged and look forward to it!!
Just think, while you are out there, the rest of us are back here!!!

Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!
