its me again. after looking at map I see the 8 man chair to access run 8. When you say 'from the park' where is that -is that the top of Penken?
And you are both saying we can go down on the chairs as well as up no problem - generally we thought this was not possible.

Start from the Penken Gondola, get off and make the short walk past the apres ski bars etc. then get on the 3er Penken lift to the top of the Penken, here you have the choice of going down on the lift (as I said I have seen loads of people doing this in Myrhofen) or take the blue 2 onto the blue 20 down to the base of the Horberg where you will find 4 lifts, one of them is the 8 man taking you onto the best practice blue ( number 8 )

I'm from Dublin Ireland and comming for the first time to Finkenberg with my friend. We'll stay at Eber Hotel. Can you tell me how much is the sky pass for Finkenberg, I would say we are intermediate skiiers, and how much is to rent the boots and skies for 6 days?
Thanks a lot.

CWagner,
My wife and I are off to Lanersbach next Wednesday (5.5 working days, and counting).
I am almost - but not quite - completely obsessed with choosing the right place to spend my hard earned cash when I ski and I must say that on paper lanersbach looks the biz. This has been backed up by a few of the splendid folks on this board.
I'll post a 'report' when I get back.
