Andy, given 47 years since I first landed in Niederau,and that I always spend the middle of January there, that is unlikely.

However, the possibility of a drive over is a distinct possibility, and I would really like to meet up with other J2skiers.
I share the same lift pass, (Kitz Allstar). I also do a few days drive out each January anyway, Westendorf, Kitzbuhel, St Johann. The Tuesday is normally the Hahnemkamm downhill practice day.

Of course the J2skiers could always bring a chara over to Niederau....

Niederau will always have a place in my heart: especially the wonderful Red Ski School where I first took my tentative ski-steps on snow. But don't let's "harp on" about it ;)

Sadly, we are still not quite ready to join you guys. I think we have two more seasons where we need to stick to school holidays. Hopefully we can then mix it up a bit....

For the first time in 5 years I think we'll have to cancel our usual Christmas/New Year trip. University costs are now draining the bank account at an alarming rate!

Seriously considering Are in Sweden again for Feb half term. Was really impressed with the resort this year.

Now DaveMac - I think with this next trip there will be serious questions asked as to your existence if you duck out of skiing with us, somewhere!
We have a cunning plan at the embryonic stage.
As this is a two week trip to Kaprun; you come to us one week and we return the favour on the other and check out Niederau with your guidance.

I'm sure we can organise transport from Kaprun - you may even know a likely "man with a van".
It would be fun.

When I finalise my winter plans, I will let you know. However, meeting up with more J2skiers sounds really good.

If we can organise a trip to another resort, Niederau for example, then I think we should. In previous years we have managed to book a coach to take us to explore nearby slopes that aren't linked to the resort we are staying in and it has been very successful.
I can see my house from here...
