Group Trip(s) to Kaprun - 21st and 28th January 2017

Felthorpe, if that was a plan, it may be better to stay on Soll or Scheffau, with a 20 min minibus ride into Niederau, all covered by the Allstar card. The Ski welt is a large area, but even larger if you cover other areas on the Allstar card, (St Johann, Kitzbuhel, etc)

Niederau has really good runs, but a limited number. Only 45km in the village. It is bus linked to Auffach, and then ski over to Alpbachtal, so totals 145km of runs. However, the village has a lot of character, as do the stubles up the mountain. It is different for me, because I have so many friends here. If you base in Niederau, you can minibus (or some hotels coach customers) over to the Ski Welt.

Then again, Alpbach is another good village to stay in, again full of character, famously called the chocolate box village of Tirol. Some really good runs and links.

However, this is a conversation for the future.....

We are up to about 20 now, spread over 2 weeks from January 21st.
A single female share is available for both weeks and possibly a male share first week.
On single rooms I am not sure (Hotel been closed for their holiday in May) but possible, first week probably easier/more space than second.

I am in touch with a few people who would like to come but won't be in a position to confirm until later in the year but having a very flexible trip should make many things possible.

Anybody thinking of joining this trip and flying from Newcastle? I need a buddy to share a room or other accom with if anybody is up for it. Would need to be male though as wife would not be impressed if I took a ski trip with another lady.
Would be happy to consider other accom in Kaprun as I'm sure there are other cheaper options available at the same time.

I've sent Doug a PM - historically we have done very well in linking people up to share rooms on our trips.

The group is floating around in the low 20's at the moment.

I am still looking for a female to share a room with, if anyone is interested in coming with us to Kaprun.

We have recently added another to the merry throng going to Kaprun.
As AllyG posted above - there is space for a female share both for the first and/or second week.
Also a possible for a male share for the first week.
Harder to say on single room availability - this is down to what is possible when we enquire (one single was available for the first week when I last checked recently).
