Its more important to know what the level of skiing is is going to be .... and yes it did sound a bit pompous!

That's me out, I was thrown out of school when I was 15. Advised to get a job where I could use my hands, as I clearly had no future.

I became a musician instead ..
To be fair the original post was an offer of a cheap holiday sharing with other people ...the red rag was the mention of the level of education of the other people...as if it mattered!!!
As I mentioned earlier I think it is more important to know the level of skiing (assuming you will ski together!) as is not entirely a social event and more of a physical one ..
However I may be entirely wrong and just wibbling along on a ski forum

I didn't realise it was an offence to have an education these days?
Having said that, I can see why the post might have come across as pompous, but you have to be a certain kind of person to be able to spend time with uni post grads, especially in a confided space!
