Ski hire and lift passes

We have always gone with a tour operator whe we fly, mainly because it's been very convenient. Ie..if the flights delayed they will still pick you up and get you to resort. I have experienced a closed car hire company previously. Anyways, we have also always taken the ski hire and lift pass with the t.o too. However looking today with a company that we have used several times before and I compared prices..their lift pass is €296 ....resort price €250 and the ski hire looks much cheaper too. Has this always been the case? Pretty sure I have looked in the past and it wasn't that different. Looking at Cervinia 30th December from Bournemouth hopefully if I can persuade hubby. Advice, tips.

It depends which tour operator you have been going with..There are always discounts available for ski /boot hire and the lift pass is usually the same from the tour operator ..unless the tour operator has hedged his funds at the wrong time.
