I come on here to enjoy myself and relax (as well as learn something about ski-ing) and escape from the unpleasant realities of life (currently a blocked toilet, rats in the wall, disappointing modular A Level results, a routine GP appointment that turned into needing another one at the hospital etc. etc. ...).

We seem to have lost EmmaEvs now because of bickering, and I don't want to lose Tropicana as well. I miss Emma's amusing informative posts.

Please, just let it go ... for me ... please ...

which I understand to be a personal attack, similar to the one which Jobster experienced. My questions remain unanswered.

Perhaps Post Grads with the appropriate University education should be the only ones allowed to comment in this thread.

I feel I have to comment on that as well Ally G. I was singled out by somebody on here, for daring to have an opinion on a topic that has become a very subjective, opinionated and indeed "uneducated" discussion. Please re-read the thread carefully and see where contradictory arguments are causing some people, like myself,to feel the need to ask for clarity on statements made. I don`t accept accusations on my person to go without redress or fairness of reply. One cannot say people have a "bee in their bonnet" about being "educated", when the author was the first person to mention the word educated, as if it was indeed an issue in the selection of bedfellows. And to be even more honest, if,as you say, you don`t want to cause discomfort on here, surely you could have been the better person by PM`ing Bandit rather than opening it up to the forum arena, therefore exacerbating and fuelling the fire. Just a thought :)

That's your opinion, which is fine, along with Wickers stance. Both are assumptions, based on your interpretation of the posts made here. I know for certain that my ego does not need any putting away, however I value fairness and equality in all matters. The issues which have been raised on this thread have not been dealt with. Attempts have been made to squash further participation from the posters who have raised questions.
