I was only thinking about you today mate, i was wondering how you got on.
Andorra is pretty good, we went to Arinsal but would not go back as it's too small.
I would save up and go to a bigger and better resort. We went to La Plagne this year and it brought me on leaps and bounds.
Get booking next years and give yourself something to look forward to.
Woohoo! Welcome to the club.

Hi Sm4sh,
It sounds like you did really well and I'm glad you had a good time :D
But as for sore leg muscles - I'm afraid that's what happens if you ski without doing an exercise program before you go! Even after you learn to do perfect parallel turns your legs will still ache unless you're fit enough - especially after long days in the powder and on the steep runs.
Have fun checking out the ski brochure for your next holiday!

that was some offer i saw in the mag. Not sure where to go yet. I would like some more lessons in this country. i want to know how you turn without snow plow all the time. cos that really did my legs in when on them blue runs.
Also tried snowboarding taster lesson when i was away. i much rather skiing.
The amount of people you get to know while there is quite good as well.
All in all was a very good and enjoyable week. Dont want to wait a year for another now!
Might even have a photo to upload to my profile now as well

Glad you enjoyed it Smashy. Did Nicey go with you? )
Take my advice, forget Bulgaria or Andorra and head off to the Alps for an authentic ski holiday. Try somehwere old and rustic for a traditional feel, maybe Switzerland or Austria.
