Spot the newbie!
You've made the classic mistake in thinking a ski trip is all about the nightlife. You'll learn in time.

ha ha. the night life wasnt that great. it was the really cheap drinks that did me. every night we said we would stay out till 12, then every night we would end up getting in about half 2. Its good in places like that because you kinda just get talking to anyone.

You can do that in Stoke on Trent. Same kind of risk of assault or mugging I guess )

Sm4sh,
I was thinking, you must be a lot younger than me, to be out drinking until 2-30 a.m. and then get up at 8-30 for a ski lesson :D

At my age, I find it very difficult to keep my eyes open after about 10 p.m. when I'm on a ski holiday.

We stayed in hotel Flora. Was ment to be a 4 star but it didnt really seem it. Was a nice hotel though and would stay there again. Some of the women in the hotel had complaints that there was no hair dryer, when the holiday brochure said there was.
The hotel food was not the best. Didnt have much to choose from and even if you got there at 6 when the doors had just opened, most of the food was quite cool and could have done with warming up.
There wasnt really much choice, I had Chips and Chicken/Pork most nights.
Last couple of nights we ate out... that was nice.
Everything was quite cheap as well. Got a Main meal with a starter and 2 cocktails for about 20 quid. (cocktails where really cheap everywhere so we was always drinking them  )

n Ally im 23
