Just got back from Soll and the Skiwelt area had fantastic snow conditions. Local saying its the best for the time of year for a long time.

Stunning pictures, Mick 1583 ~ I was there at the same time, didn't have you on my list ~ met up with several other J2 skiers. Yes, I have lots of pictures of the same atmosphere ~ skiing just about as good as it gets.

Also managed to do a drawing/painting almost every day. I measured my jacket inside pocket, and bought a w/c pad the max size that would fit! Very pleased with the results, cos they are drawn on the mountain, during normal breaks.

The best skiing conditions I have experienced. :P
Apart from the gondola being closed Friday morning, tried Friday afternoon but there was too much snow for me. :cry:

Watch out for a certain Welsh lady, and her Irish friend, Mamabien.
Also watch out for several Irish ladies, all with medical qualifications, you never know what will come in handy!
All of these ladies to be treated with respect!
All to be found in Gunthers at various times, and O'Malleys later.

Snowing in Niederau today, sunshine yesterday. Skiing very good. :P About 40cm in the village. Snow should here for a while.

Need to get this forum a wider audience, so all these people can find out that there is nothing here. Then I may not have to queue 20 minutes for the gondola, or 45 in Auffach this morning.
