It's looking likely to be pretty near perfect at the moment, with 70cm at base level in the Ski Welt and more predicted for Thursday/Friday this week.
Where are you going exactly? I'll be in Scheffau from the 7th - should be there by lunchtime, so expect to get a full afternoon in on arrival :)

Brilliant, I like the sound of that...
yeah, we're in Soell and arrive midday 7th (hopefully). may get an hour in depending on everyone getting ready...so soon....

Is that the plane landing at midday, or arrival in Soll at Midday?
Mine lands in Salzburg at 10:00, so should be in Scheffau between midday and 13:00.
BTW, if you are ready to ski before 14:00, it is cheaper to buy a 7 day pass than an afternoon one plus a six day. But if it is 15:00 before you are ready to ski, then the six day pass starting Sunday is valid from 15:00 on Saturday (This is not advertised, I got told it when I arrived at the Going ticket office last time at 10 to 3).

Would this be the same for Niederau as I am arriving on the 4th Feb around 12 noon in the resort, could I get a cheeky hour or so skiing late that afternoon?
