The snooker ran late, then later.... and Ski Sunday was chopped in the middle of an interview with Kevin Pearce. The Alta discrimination item was drivel, it failed to mention that there is supposed to be a Snowboard only resort in the US. Then there is the small matter of failing to mention the death of Sarah Burke last week, one of skiing brightest stars. I have heard that her accident was on the same Super Pipe where Kevin Pearce was badly injured.
To be fair, I think the sad death of Sarah Burke would have been confirmed too late for them to realistically mentioned it in the show.
The segment on Alta was poor. They didn't mention any of the real advantages of not having snowboard traffic (of which there must be some, mogul shape for instance?) other than with some predictably shallow narrative about prejudice and ageism.
BTW. I didn't know there was a snowboard only resort in the US. Which one? (and why did they not mention it?)

Anyone see the show last night, Alta in Utah, still in the dark ages!

I had a minor paddy when the start of the programme was delayed and the BBC shoved on some Jools Holland sponsored caterwauling by bloody Adele and Duffy........I turned off the sound and flicked through some ski brochures to calm my nerves.
Great skiing from Kitzbuhel. My snow boarding daughter started shouting at the telly when the Alta piece came up. Don't think we'll be heading there anytime soon.

Most annoying, when the PROGRAMME cut out, particularly as it was about the bloke who was on the slopes again after almost killing himself!

The worst thing about the BBC network cutting the end off Ski Sunday, was we missed our tribute to Sarah Burke. Me and @snowedleigh gutted.
