How about mounting the strap mountable in two places - rather than just being fixed to the rear of the goggles. If you could mount the strap a cm or more further forward it might make the goggles compatible with more helmets.

My daughter's new helmet stopped her goggles from sitting flushly on her face - they were being held slightly in front of her face by the straps.

She decided my new Bolles with the modulator lenses fitted better however the brown frame was uncool!
