I'd like to land on the moon. Can they have a periscope too?

Ally I'm starting to get a liking for off piste after all these years but moguls I never see the point, I watch so many skiers setting off full of confidence down a moguled run and then see them half way down
wishing they never started so they are really not for me or my knees 8)
How about goggles with a built in cappuccino machine so you dont need to queue up, just sit down on a bench outside and make your own.
Or a built in Brevelle toasted sandwich maker,& mines a cheese & onion please
Is it a coincidence that you just got some decent skis, fit for the purpose )
Hi Ian,
Thanks for making me feel a bit better about my mogul problems. I know it's not absolutely essential to learn to ski them, but it is awkward if you're happily ski-ing down a run and suddenly all these horrid irregular lumps appear and you can't get through them.
Have you tried taking glucosamine sulphate for your knees? I've started taking it and it does seemed to have helped my creaky old knees.
I haven't started ski-ing properly off piste yet - just at the side of the piste. The idea of the RDF on the goggles was so that I wouldn't accidentally go off piste in the fog and get lost.
Ally
I guess that is part of it....... but I put it down to the kids they just love to ski off piste, and the kids expect me to take them off piste

Also, I very much like Tony's idea of having my own personal piste basher to flatten the moguls (I think Littleski actually has the copyright on the 'mongols'). I would like to bash a lot of moguls right now  They have a lot to answer for. My toe still hurts
It would also be quite nice to know if someone was coming up from behind me, as TheoBane says, but maybe it could be sonar, like the reversing sensors on my car.
Most importantly, as everyone else says, I would like to actually be able to SEE when the light is flat. I went crash over on my back (again) because I couldn't see a large hump in the ground, even though I was wearing my goggles. Of course, I may be wearing the wrong sort of goggles. All this talk of different lenses is very confusing.
