a day at Hemel

Well, I hope he was good looking, and your husband didn't mind
Not at all. £150, 10:30 - 4:30 including a 20 minute tea break at about midday and lunch at about 1:30 for an hour. It looked like a lot of money to me but it was worth every penny and I'd recommend that no one does it any other way. PSC, I think you really need to be turning to get the desire. I was told to persevere until it clicks and I remember vividly the run that I linked three turns and thought "I know what I did there" and the next run I went all the way down very happily. There is a very obvious turning point (no pun intended).
My boys are very annoyed with us, but they've now mastered skiing so I've promised them lessons in the summer once they've skied in Arabba :D.
let's bloomin well hope so, ay! I'm already eyeing up a board in the snow and rock catalogue I picked up . strangely, as I said, mr-a was not overwhelmed by the prospect but he has absolutely turned. He's no intention of skiing and is talking about buying a board when he's never had the inclination to buy skis, very strange.
He has asked me not to ruin it for him with my obsessiveness. I've no idea what he's talking about

Well done Caron and Mr A - you have done brilliantly. We had a taster session at Chill Factore and my daughter and hubby a two hour lesson in France last year but they got nowhere near turning! Perhaps my daughter needs to go on a days course at Chill Factore if she wants to pursue it. I'll show her the video - this may be expensive
Most of her friends snowboard but don't ski. It's handy to be able to do both like my son but he does honestly prefer ski-ing despite the fact his girlfriend and all her family are snowboarders and ban him from skiing when he is with them
