But where do you put the skis and boards ?
We have a kia suv for 4 wheel drive and a minivan. The mini van is the ski mobile in the winter. With the back seats stowed,it is permenantly stocked  with a qiuiver of boards and skis. The kia is topped with a large top box for long bad weather journeys.

I can't take any credit. It's a common term used by alpine snowboarders. Most have several boards to choose from and they often will ride two or three different boards on the same day.

I always thought a quiver was what you put arrows in (bow and arrow)
I thought a quiver was what my wife does when I...... never mind

Get yourself an Audi Avant, Trencher. You get the lot with that: power, comfort, style, flexibility, economy....

Have you just written the new collective noun for skis and boards into the English language?
Off the top of my head I can't think of a better one, it sounds more dynamic than "a vanful of skis" :)
