First thing that come to mind after I hear the word "mogul" is "Donald Trump" and that should be enough to put anyone off.....
Do not put piste map reading in the hands of the bloke who can't tell the difference between a drag lift and a Black run!

Just read all the posts again. Am not sure I fully agree with skidding being bad in skiing. Unless you are 100% carving a turn there is inherently a skid element to it, be it on a gentle piste, mogul field, couloir or a surfy turn on an Alaskan spine. Surely what is important to have a feel for the pressure on your edges so you control the amount of skid. No way to 100% carve on anything above about 30deg without threatening land speed record.

Now this is a style of mogul skiing to aspire to. Not full zipper but just awesome.
