Megavalanche returns to Alpe d’Huez
Login
The Megavalanche mountain biking event returns to Alpe d'Huez next month from 03-09 July.
Since 1995, thousands of mountain bikers from around the world have enjoyed this unique race, which features a mass start at 3330m above sea level to the finish at Allemont, 2600m further down the mountain.
The first section is through snow before racers reach a narrow, rocky single-track trail, including both downhill and rolling sections toward the finish.
The Megavalanche is the longest downhill mountain bike race in the world…and probably the craziest too!
