Good spot Daved. Maybe Ranchero published an 8 point guide, then a 7 point guide, then a.....
Bedrock Barney & moguls = not a very good mix. I have issues with speed on steeper inclines which I know all comes back to my skiing standard. Might get some lessons when in Sweden next month.

I'm not too bad on the steeps but get very nervous on moguls ..I tend to get too fast for my liking and then get nervous and chicken out of the next turn..practice makes perfect so i will keep on trying

Spent 3 hrs yesterday frustrating myself on moguls, trying to hold a tight corridor ski a whole pitch. Can't seem to rotate my left turn under my body enough which means am struggling to control the speed. Might want to chop my arms off as well to tidy things up.

I'm afraid I usually resort to the "stop-start" technique on really bad slopes. There's one in AdH called la Combe Charbonniere, which is my "favourite", especially after a warm spell, when the rocks are showing through nicely !

I have perfected a technique for those difficult and steep mogul fields that should be perfect for all.
I call it the "Gondola" technique - lessons are available :)

They do have a certain appeal though. Anyone over 30 cannot forget those videos of Glen Plake going mad in moguls, calm upper body and legs going like a set of pistons. Still the terrain that makes me an incomplete skier, as they expose all your technique flaws.
