Sami,
I'm really sorry to hear about all your problems and I can see why you just want to go home now .
I think we all go through bad patches in our lives (I certainly do anyway), and somehow we just have to muddle our way through them. I'm sure you'll make it through to the other side, with help from your friends and family.
Best Wishes,
Ally

So sorry Sami to hear of your probs. This is the 3rd time I have heard of things going wrong this week with couples, whilst away on holiday. Can it not be repaired? Will staying on the holiday and having a good time to-gether not do the trick. Take care

I really feel for you Sami - my son is going through a similar thing at the moment and I'm trying to be a good Mum and listen/advise/say all the right things etc. ) (Actually, I feel like smacking someone really hard!)

It is shocking to hear everybody's bad news-bad start to New Year. I also want to smack someone at the moment! I have suffered the most hideous abuse at the hands of..my ski instructor ''friend'' who I will see in Austria in 10 days time. Some things in life happen for a reason. Not this one- it has left me in pieces and I haver never met such a person ever. But you can always learn and move on and sometimes the worst things can actually turn out to be the best- just give it time! Good luck!

Sued,
I'm sorry to hear about your particular problem - I hope you can avoid seeing your 'friend' on your Austrian holiday now. Have you got other friends to ski with?
Best Wishes,
Ally

Thanks Ally! I am very torn between being mature or letting rip! But I having health problems and there is still a big question mark whether I will be able to ski at all! I would really struggle to see him again but my health comes first so I will ignore him. The whole experience is very painful.
I am going with my husband and daughter who are not doing ski school. I am as I still have so much to learn and nothing will stop me. I am struggling with double vision and if that doesn't improve then it makes skiing impossible as the light is causing my eyes problems! Tough life sometimes!

Sued,
My friend who also has MS has trouble with her eyes sometimes, more with one eye than the other, I think. If you find ski school too hard to keep up, maybe you could try some more gentle ski-ing with your family.
I hope all goes well, and the eye problem resolves before the holiday starts,
Ally

Trouble with eyes is horrible- it will get better but how long is a bit of string! My husband is an optometrist so I have prisms I can wear but my eyes start shaking- not a good look! I have just had 3g of steroids and things are improving but not quickly enough for my ski holiday. Still 10 days is a long time! Sue
