ADH is open now, though they are obviously saving the proper opening until more people turn up over the weekend.
A few runs/lifts are open and there's enough snow to get some turns in.
Here's a pic of the better half on Le Dahut, just below the Marmottes 1 chairlift, enjoying her new boots. That's Signal over her shoulder.



The snow is good in the resort and is currently skiable down to Huez, noted on the way up/down in the car.

I have been wondering why the web cams from the top lift at ADH has been out of order for the last few days.

Seems i just stumbled across the reason why. Looks like a bloody good reason though.

Will be heading there on 21st January. Looks like there will be enough snow!! :shock:

I skied in Alpe d'Huez yesterday and the conditions were perfect: fresh snow and sunshine!
The Sarenne (the longest slope of the world) is now open.
