You missed out not doing the Tunnel, best conditions I've skiied it in. Did it on the Monday, entry was very interesting, first few turns difficult, but once on the run proper the snow was soft and forgiving, very rewarding.
A few of the group had plucked up the courage by the end of the week, so we went up again on the Friday. This time we found the entrance much easier as they's cut out a big traverse. I even rescued a ski for someone, the look of relief on his face when he realised he didn't need to do a 30m climb! The run itself even easier than at the beginning of the week, soft soft snow all the way down.

I'm also going to make sure the Sarenne is pisted before I do it again!

I didn't do The Tunnel, was put off by someone on my transfer bus telling me to say 'no' if asked to do it. But I intend to give it a go when I go back.

Glad you had a good time Tony, I agree the skiing was fantastic... the best conditions ever ..nice to see you there and a great pity we couldnt ski together. I felt sorry for you stuck in the town with no gear when the snow was so good...... hopefully next time all will be well!!
