I seem to remember Top Gear doing a 'Winter Olympics' a few years ago where they put a Mini on skis (or similar), attached a rocket and sent it off a ski jump (don’t know if that counts or not??) :wink:

We were to the Elton John show in Halifax last night so I'm thinking Rocket Man = Rocket Ski !!

does anyone have any genuine words of wisdom before I book a holiday through rocket ski? Do I go with them or stick with crystal?!

We have used Equity or Rocket Ski several times over the past few years and always had great holidays and good value for money. Our first ever holiday was one of those where everything that could go wrong did! However, the staff did everything they could to make amends and the guests all had a great time and it didn't stop us using the company again. Our most recent trip with them to Italy was a great holiday but the Equity/Rocket Ski rep turned out to be as useless as a chocolate teapot and unfortunately Equity/Rocket Ski when we advised them of this, were not exactly bothered! Would we use them again? Probably yes for the right deal!
Check when booking whether there is a school party booked in that week - often the bargain deals are to fill up the spaces!

This surely, is an advice/chat/info forum, not somewhere for people to start a slanging match, cos they got out of bed the wrong side this morning.

We had much the same on 'one for the instructors' tread recently. Cost me a couple of karma stars then when I objected to it going to far.

Can we just keep the answers courteous, informative, with a sprinkling of humour.

That said, end of rant. Hopefully those of us stuck at home are just suffering cabin fever.
