Is it on its way??!!

hi, i am going skiing for the first time to les saisies at the end of the year and am beginning to panic about the lack of snow...
please could somebody tell me which resorts are near by which DO have snow ? thanks!

Don't panic, it's cold and the snow canons work full time, so you'll have snow in any high resort (above 1500 m).

But to be honest i can't see any snow for xmas day, but maybe after.
There is a french saying "Noel au balcon, Paques aux tisons".....which means "Xmas on the balcony, easter in front of the chimney !! So it will be a late season. March and April should be great !

It hasn't been too good in the US either. I was in Park City UT last w/e.
If there had not been some good snow falls over that w/e, the resorts would have been in dire straits. The problem seems to have been solved for now.
In the midwest, temps are way above average and there is a record drought. It has been cold enough at times for all the hills to make enough snow to open and conditions have been good. The hills are small and thier snowmaking technology is excellent.
