Ally

You actually were going to book a self catering apartment for 2 people at £384pp???

You need your head testing.

Do you know these apartments Tony? If not I dont reckon you are very well placed to comment

If you do know them, they may suit Ally down to the ground. Dont tell peeps they will be/have been ripped off - not very productive to be honest.

You got out the wrong side of bed this morning? ;)
Wo there horsey!!!

I am aware of said apartments, but have not visited them, and was not commenting on their quality or suitability for AllyG.

I was just pointing out that £384pp for self catering really isn't a great deal. You can get a catered chalet for that.

"I dont reckon you are very well placed to comment....." Ring any bells?

Seriously, you don't HAVE to do anything. There is the possibility that you might end up with some poshoes, but you just intimidate them so much and swear, fart or spit so that they go to bed straight after dinner. Job done

Touche!

I just dread the thought of sharing a Chalet with Farquar and Jilly (apologies if anyone's husband/wife/mum/dad/brother/sister/aunty/uncle/brother/sister etc are called these names)

talking about how spiffing their day was....or maybe just as bad some chavs.

Perfect scenario would be the peeps on here. That would be a laugh :D

My fear when booking a chalet is not the presence of 'poshoes' but low-grade herberts who 'swear, fart and spit'. :)

Once stayed in chalet in Val D'Isere that was mainly occupied by this 'Godfather' type figure and his 'crime family'. Not very pleasant dinner conversation and this gang weren't really interested in skiing at all; a kind of glorified stag group summed up by one of them who told me Scotland was much better for a skiing holiday because you could go shooting instead of to the slopes!
