High up will be fine - you may have too much, you never know!
Resorts runs are a bit more hit and miss but that is always the same before Christma.

Don't worry about the lack of snow at resort level, almost all the skiing is much higher up the mountain. Quite a lot of rain forecast for the town itself this week.

Mid station is 2440m it will all be snow falling at that altitude.

thanks for that I will certainly rest easier now. It has even hit our news how little snow Europe has had so we were getting worried.

Quick question with all the snow being set to fall above 200m . can anyone tell me where the majority of the grand montets runs starts and finish at altitude wise ???? if im right in my understanding most skiing pre christmas will be above agentiere ???? whats the altitude of these runs. sorry for my ignorance. Just trying to figure out what im letting myself in for.

I am also going on the 16th and have been slightly concerned but I am not worried, there will be snow to ski on even if we have to go high, it would be nice to see snow at resort level.

I remember last year at the same time in Tignes we had an overnight dump of 30cms, the mountain weather is very changeable.

Just been watching the live webcams and there IS snow falling - have noticed quite a lot (already) at resort (1850M) area.
