Have you got a memory stick to save a copy of it just in case?
Won't the airport have some sort of internet cafe (possibly with a printer)? I was in an airport a few weeks ago and I was amazed to see they even had ipod and phone chargers for all the different models and makes.
And, while I'm thinking about it, all Easyjet needed for my e-ticket was my passport (because the ticket is linked to the passport) and the reference number or credit card on the way back because they had a self check in system in Geneva. They didn't actually want to see a piece of paper.
Best of luck with getting to Alpe d'Huez and I hope you and everyone else has a great time when you get there.

Thanks Ally.
I actually have an internet enabled mobile phone so I should be able to show them the email. Ill try and find a printer in an internet cafe at the airport. Plus, when they get my booking reference number all the details will show up on their system so it should be ok.
Sitting in a 24 hour cafe waiting for the replacement bus for the train to stansted. The OH is saying I'm crazy for putting her through this. The bus to the airport is in 3 hours  4.10am to Stansted

oh man
so Bensbus emailled me to say they spoke to Grenoble last night and they plan to open today!
how ironic after all the stuff Ive done.
Tempted to take the Chambery flight anyway - its earlier and more likely to get me there if anything goes wrong. PLUS - I paid more money for it!!!
What a crazy journey Ive had

Well today has arrived.
I am up far too early for the journey ahead but at the moment (fingers crossed, legs crossed, praying) LGW is open and things are running to schedule.
Slight downside is that Grenoble is currently closed but is planned to open.
I checked Low Cost Airlines and their flights are on time in and out of Grenoble (Sorry Sami) so that gives me some confidence.
Anyway, up and away we go and cant wait to get in resort.
Hope to meet some people there and good luck and safe travels to all travelling out this weekend.

I am rather confused about which flight Sami was booked on in the first place, but if it was the Ryanair FR2132 flight from Stansted to Grenoble leaving at 10:10 today and arriving at 12:55, then it's been cancelled, according to the Ryanair website
http://www.ryanair.com/en/notices/gops/100105-SNOW_UK_05JAN10-GB
If this was his flight then he can get a refund. I hope it was and he hasn't wasted the extra money on the new flights. His OH will then presumably forgive him for their awful journey to the airport.
Any more news on how everyone else is getting on? It's turned into an amazing epic journey, just to get out to Alpe d'Huez
Edit:
If Sami's new tickets were for the Snowjet ZT 2761 flight Stansted to Chambery then the Snowjet website said the flight was delayed (not cancelled) by 1 hour and 30 minutes. I hope it takes off/has taken off.

I made it!!!! :D:D:D:D
What a crazy journey.
1. the train to london was delayed by 2 hours
2. had a small 'domestic'
3. 3 the flight was delayed by 1.5 hours
4. we waited for about 2 hours in chambery looking for a seat on a transfer coach to ADH which we never found
5. managed to get to chambery train station then to grenoble ok, but then the coach to ADH was delayed by nearly 2 hours!!!!! a TGV train was delayed so...we waited for it?
So all in all, left Glasgow at 2pm on Friday, arrived at ADH about 9pm Saturday. Next year Im booking with a TO flying out of Glasgow or Edinburgh!!!
BUT
Its amazing :D
Bluebird day, the sun is out, and the snow is fresh. Boot deep powder on the edge of almost every piste. Just struggling with powder skiing which Ive never tried before, fun, but tiring.
