Don't use all of that snow before mid-January, OK? Hope everyone is keeping safe. Looks like a good storm - 100mph winds on the glacier

Yep, winds were something of a feature all day! :shock:
It's not stopped snowing and it looks as if there's been a fair bit more than forecast; even if a lot of it has been "coming down" horizontally most of the day.
Just a couple of lifts eventually opened at 11:00 this morning, but enough to access fabulous powder on mellow pitches well-known to the Snoworks instructors, in spots less exposed to the winds.
Ended the afternoon lapping the Tichot chair and coming down various pitches in the Stade area; deep and creamy smooth - face shots on the first day of my season - I'll take that!
I'll be adding a lot more about the Snoworks course(s) later, and should be able to post more pictures tomorrow as the weather clears.
