I have been looking forward to a good old "powder dump" for a while as I am off on Friday, however, flying into Geneva has anybody any experience of coaches not getting up the hill due to heavy snow or have the French got that sorted?
Not really worried but the thought popped in there??

I reckon if you can land at Geneva you will be fine.
Where are you going? What level is the resort?
On Friday it will be raining hard up to somewhere above 1600m with the snow coming down to the lower levels in the evening/over night.
If you are in a high level resort the last few miles could be a bit slow.
But I'm sure you'll get there.

Hi OA,am going to Chamonix, I was sort of hoping it would be snowing @ low levels as my 7 year old daughter will be in awe of it all.

I want to go skiing next Monday !!! :cry:
There is going to be so much snow end of this week and temperatures dropping and then clear weather with a dusting around.
So jealous of those of you getting out pre-xmas.
