Mrs Johnski96 and I have sorted ourselves 3 days in Lanersbach in early March.
Does anyone have any 'tips' on the skiing, bars and restaurants etc??
It looks ideal!
Thanks
Johnski

I have skied the area whilst staying in Mayrhofen. Lanersbach is a very small place with a few exclusive hotels and the odd bar, very quiet generally.
The skiing locally at Eggalm is fantastic, several really good little places to eat up the mountain as well. Head over to Rastkogel for some sunny days up on the slopes there, and some good technnical skiing down in the back of Penken and Horberg.
Enjoy.

my wife loved that blue, off the top of the 6 man chair lift if I recall. There's a red that runs down the left-hand side of that blue as well.
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

Thanks all, I can't wait!
Evidently the Eggalm gondola station is 30m from the front door of our 'Pension'. I'll do a quick report when I get back, we're paying EUR57/night half board which seems pretty good to me and Easyjet flights to Innsbruck.
I've heard there will be a foot of fresh snow the day before we arrived followed by 3 days of cold, calm air and sunshine :-)
