Help for 1 day ski at zurich

Hi, my name is Eddie. I am a Canadian. :mrgreen:

I will be flying from Slovenia to Zurich :P on 4th Feb 2010. I like to have a brief and short snowboard trip at any ski hill / resort locally that day. It will be a one day trip. I will be flying back to Slovenia on the same day at night.

Can anyone please kindly direct me where I can go to get more information, such as the nearest ski location, how to get there, get snowboard rentals etc...or any site that I can book such short trip?

midweek I'd go to Flumersberg, it's reachable by public transport from Zurich. There's some rental stores there, I've never used them so I can't say if they're any good, or a store in Zurich might be just as easy.

Flumserberg is fine providing you go on a weekday. It is by far the easiest resort to get to from Zurich and for that reason it gets super crowded on the weekends though so you may be better off going slightly further to Pizol or going to one of the resorts in Graubunden.
