Anybody please suggest a family NY package in Austria/Italy/France/Switzerland from ~Dec 23 till ~Jan 10.
My skills level is expert, wife and kid (4 y.o.) are beginners.

WANTED: 50%-quiet/50%-party place interesting for both kid and adults. Sparking NY party, fun, etc.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

There seems to be quite a few last minute packages around at the moment.

Look at http://www.wtss.co.uk for a resort and then try google.

Crikey, thats a very open brief.

You need to go somewhere that has good slopes and tuition for beginners with some decent terrain for you to explore as well. Somewhere pretty and traditional? You also need to guarantee snow early season.

Stab in the dark but you might want to look seriously at Lech in Austria for starters.

If the snow ever arrives one of the ski stations along the skiwelt in Austria might suit your needs perfectly, basically you get the best of both worlds with a series of villages interlinked to form one massive ski area. Google skiwelt & check out Scheffau or Ellmau. You will be able to tailor the après to any percentage you like. Don't know about NY après.
