After the great tips I received last time on my technique I have put a link to the latest vid from this year. Any tips would be greatfully received.

I was going to have a lesson this year but the weather was so rubbish in La Rosiere for the whole week we were there I couldn't be bothered. Thought it would be better to just have some fun in La Thuile instead.

For a long time. Started when I was eight. Had a 5 year break from it when my first Son was born and have only been going again for the last three years. I was ok at the old school technique and have self taught myself carving so hoping to improve.

Hi everybody.

Still looking for some more tips to help improve when I go this year.

Take a look and slag me off until I get better :D

Cheers

Looks fine to me, all I'd suggest is to vary the radius of your turns (if you don't already) to really get on top of carving.

I reckon that looks pretty solid-in control, good carve, no skid!
If you pause the video around 40seconds I reckon you could be more forward-you are a bit sat back on the skis. Try to focus on engaging your core muscles and lifting you hips forward.
That is being REALLY picky tbh and if it is on a steep slope(which it looks like it could be) then its a natural thing to sit back at the ned of the turn!
I got some advice the other day and he said to lift my chin up because i was looking down at the snow too much which i never realised!
Best thing is to keep videoing yourself-i hate it but it works!
