I know it's cheaper than some but is it any good?
It's only a slope.

depends on where you're going and what the weather is like. If you're going towards the end of season when it should be warmer then Trespass will be fine, if however you're going high in the middle of winter and get caught in the middle of a snow storm I would suggest there are a number of other makes that would do a much better job. Having said all that who am I to knock one company over another. Choose well though as there's nothing worse than feeling cold on the side of the hill
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

not as such, they sponsor the GB junior team and the British Freestyle team but not the senior team.

They sponsor the British team as its one of few skiwear manufacturers in the UK. I hardly expect to see the Brits sponsored by Schoeffel.

I had Trespass jackets when I started out, as they were cheap. I dont think they are poor quality, but as with everything, you get what you pay for. If you are really into spending £500 on a ski jacket, good luck to you.

I do however find that Trespass stuff just hasnt got that je ne sais quoi in terms of styling though. I have had Helly Hansen and currently have a Cross jacket, which have been far nicer to wear and looked a lot better.

Remember, TK Maxx is your friend.

My first ski jacket was a Trepass one and I've worn it two seasons plus I've worn it about half a dozen times to the indoor snow slopes. I wear it for horse riding as well. It's been perfectly fine, the first year we went skiing it was about -10 through the day and it was warm enough with plenty of layers underneath. I got myself a new jacket this year though. I agree that their not as stylish or as well thought out as the more expensive jackets, but perfectly servicable for skiing.

I don't see why not :?: Anyway, it's not very important but they do not sponsor the British team at least not the seniors, they do sponsor the juniors and the freestyle team. I think that's more consistent with their brand as well. Sadly UK/GB snowsport's made up of a thousand different organisations which rather dilutes sponsorship.

I think the current clothing partner for the seniors is Besson the Italian company which I can't see any difference in principle from Schoeffel.

well I knew they sponsored A British Ski Team  But you are right ise, they do indeed sponsor the juniors, and Besson sponsor Snowsport GB, which is the fangled name for the governing body previously known as the British Ski Federation. According their website "Snowsport GB - a new modern image for the today's governing body for British Skiing and Snowboarding" Rebranding seems to be getting everywhere these days
