Hotel Chamois Les Gets

Anyone know what has become of Hotel Chamois? It used to get some horrible reviews on Tripadvisor. Seems to be undergoing a major renovation but no news anywhere.

It is going through a huge rennovation project and will open this winter as a four star place, run by the owner rather than with a tour operator within. It will be called the Chamois d'Or. Looks like there will be a bar, restaurant and spa too....

Thanks for that. Another step up-market for Les Gets then. La Grande Corniche, Ferme du Moudon, Ferme de Montagne, Altitude Lodge, Labrador up to 4 stars and now Chamois D'or. A good thing I think.
