Les Deux Alpes - Chalet Chamois Volant?

Looking to go to France for first time, previously been to Bulgaria Skiing. Is this resort good and has anyone stayed at Chalet Chamois Volant?

When are you going?
We are going March 22nd. I've been there for one day from Alpe D'huez and thought it was good. We are mainly going for the garanteed snow with one of the biggest summer ski areas.

What level of skier are you?
The layout is unusual in that some of the easier skiing is higher up.

I have read that since there is only one easy route back to the resort, that this can be busy and worn.
Does anybody else have any experience of the other runs like Valentine or L'Y?
Sorry can not help with Chalet or night life.

We are looking to go for Christmas this year. I have only been skiing once before but the snow fall was not good, so thats why we have chosen this resort as the snow is guaranteed. Once you have been could you let me know any tips for the resort? Is it worth going to Alpe D'Huez?

In the mean time is there anybody else around also going to les 2 Alpes week 23rd - 28th march. I'm looking for someone to ski with to try some off piste. My wife is pregnant and therefore will not be doing as much skiing as usual.
