Hi,
Have not stayed in any Hotels in BsM as I have an apartment, but I have recommended the Hostellerie du Petite Saint Bernard ( http://hostelleriedupetitsaintbernard.com/ ) which has had good feedback.
Also the Bar/Hotel L'Angival ( http://www.angival.com/hotel-bourg-saint-maurice/ ) is excellent with good rooms and also a 9 person private apartment on the top floor to rent ( around 900euros per week, which for up to 9 people is great value ).
There is also the ChillChalet ( http://www.chillchalet.com/chalets/ ) which again gets good reviews.A couple of others are ...
L'Arolla +33 04 79 07 01 78
L'Autantic +33 04 79 07 01 70
Hope some of these help, and all the best
jon.

For easy access to the Funicular, the Hostellerie du Petite Saint Bernard should be high on your list. I've eaten there one evening, and the menu was traditional French. I had the Rabbit )
