Hi ,
.....last reply was bit of a silly moment :D ....the two closest Hotels/Chalets to the funicular are indeed the Petite St Bernard and the ChillChalet, either will be a good choice, the food at the Bernard is excellent.

Another vote for Hostellerie du Petite Saint Bernard - have staid there 3 times over the last 10 years always good food and great value for money ( although this is always relative when talking about skiing) - probably better in the old days when "Madame" who liked a drink poured very large after dinner brandies - happy days

Was there in September and Madame was there propping up the bar, with her usual large helpings of Genepi, I will say hello for you when I go early December for some R & R.

We are having our New Year's Eve Dinner there again this year. Always good value for money, but can be a little slow so make sure you have plenty of time if you are eating and using the bar.
