Cypress Mountain

Cypress Mountain is the Official Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding Venue for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Cypress is only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver and is proud to continue to provide our skiers, riders and sliders with the most vertical drop, most terrain, most lifts and best snow conditions on the highest skiing and riding peak of Vancouver's Legendary North Shore Mountains.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Cypress Mountain is Calgary International, 67 minutes drive away.

Edmonton International airport is also within three hours drive.

Calgary International is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The five ski lifts are able to uplift 5,800 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Season Dates

When is Cypress Mountain open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

 Open.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

We don't yet have specific details of the COVID-19 precautions being taken in Cypress Mountain, but they are likely to include most of the following :-
