Skiing

The ski areas surrounding Lauterbrunnen include the Schilthorn and Wengen, with elevations reaching up to 3,000 meters. Notable pistes include the famous 'Schilthorn Piste' and 'Lauberhorn,' while lifts such as the 'Piz Gloria' and 'Wengen Gondola' provide excellent access to the slopes.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Lauterbrunnen is Berne, 60 minutes drive away.

Basel, Zurich, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Geneva, Sion, Lugano, St. Gallen-Altenrhein and Annecy airports are all within three hours drive.

Berne is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Lauterbrunnen, fly into Zurich or Geneva airports, then take a train to Interlaken, followed by a short transfer to Lauterbrunnen. The train journey offers scenic views of the Swiss landscape.
