Skiing

Trysil features three main ski areas: Trysilfjellet, which reaches an elevation of 1,132 meters, and offers over 75 kilometers of pistes. Notable runs include the long blue slopes of 'Knetta' and the challenging black runs like 'Svartbak', while lifts such as the Trysil Gondolen and the Høgegga chairlift provide easy access across the mountain.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Trysil is Sälen Trysil, 46 minutes drive away.

Oslo airport is also within three hours drive.

Sälen Trysil is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Trysil, fly into Oslo Gardermoen Airport, then take a shuttle or drive approximately 2.5 hours to the resort. This route offers scenic views and convenient access to the ski area.

When is Trysil open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early November, and usual closing is Late April.
