The Harz Ski Area includes 3 German Ski Resorts with a combined total of 17km of downhill skiing, with 13 individual pistes, served by 9 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Hahnenklee, Sankt Andreasberg / Sonnenberg and Schulenberg.
The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.
