Skiing

The ski area of Aussois is set between 1,500 and 2,740 meters, offering a diverse range of slopes. Notable pistes include the red 'Les Pichouds' and blue 'Cascades,' served by efficient lifts like the 'Télésiège de la Combe' and 'Téléski des Pichouds.'

Aussois offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Aussois is Chambery, 70 minutes drive away.

Grenoble, Turin Caselle, Annecy, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Geneva, Turin Cuneo, Genoa and Milan Malpensa airports are all within three hours drive.

Accessing Aussois is convenient via the A43 motorway from Lyon, with the nearest major train station in Modane. The resort is about a 2-hour drive from both Geneva International Airport and Chambery Airport.

Ski Lift Capacity

The 11 ski lifts are able to uplift 9,160 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 23km 14 miles of ski runs, with 104 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Aussois open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at the cozy 'Le Bar du Centre' or enjoy a meal at 'La Grange,' known for its traditional Savoyard cuisine. For a livelier evening, check out 'Le Kiosque' for drinks and music.
