With over 30 kilometers of slopes, Krippenstein caters to all levels of skiers. The resort features a variety of lifts, including the impressive Krippenstein cable car, elevating you to 2,100 meters.

The ski area of Krippenstein is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 610m 2,001ft , with 11km 7 miles of marked runs.

Krippenstein is part of the Dachstein West ski area with access to 97 marked pistes, served by a total of 81 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Krippenstein itself ( 11km 7 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Dachstein West ski resorts of Abtenau, Annaberg im Lammertal, Gosau, Katrin - Bad Ischl, Obertraun/Dachstein and Rußbach.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Krippenstein is Salzburg, 73 minutes drive away.

Linz, Graz, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana, Munich and Innsbruck Airport airports are all within three hours drive.

Reaching Krippenstein is convenient via the nearest major airport in Salzburg, approximately 90 kilometers away. From there, a scenic drive or shuttle service will take you to the resort.
